過去十年來，我們見證了LGBTQ+ 電影、影集、綜藝節目和人物在西方媒體的迅速崛起，然而，在亞洲許多地區，酷兒議題依然是禁忌，酷兒電影仍然被限制的或是不存在的。

尤其是最近台灣在同性戀婚姻合法化後，台北同志大遊行吸引了超過二十萬人次參加，台灣已經透過行動鞏固了在亞洲LGBTQ+社群中的地位。站在這個幸運的位置，我們想要問，LGBTQ+內容的現在和未來會是如何？我們該如何展現看不到的東西？從分眾走入為主流？最著要的，我們該如何共同合作才能讓這些事發生？

為了回答這些問題，我們籌備了GOL高峰會，亞洲最大的LGBTQ+影像製作的研討會。我們邀請了在電影製作圈內各種領域的專家，分享他們在製作酷兒主題作品時的見解和經驗。在這次的研討會中，將會有不同的專題討論，內容涵蓋影片資金、製作、發行和行銷，加上兩場主題演講。

在各個會議的中間， 將會展出GagaOOLala和GOL STUDIOS近期在國際上共同製作的作品，在高峰會結束後，也會舉辦一場超過100位業界嘉賓光臨的晚會。

During the past decade, we have witnessed the quick rise of LGBTQ+ films, series, variety shows and personalities in Western media. However, in many territories in Asia, queer themes are still taboo, and queer films are limited or non-existent.

Especially with Taiwan’s recent legalization of same-sex marriage and Taipei Pride Parade attracting over 200,000 people, Taiwan is cementing itself as a hub for Asian LGBTQ+ activities and activism. From this privileged position, we want to ask, what is the present and future of LGBTQ+ content in Asia? What can we all do to shift from invisible to visible, from niche to mainstream? And, most importantly, how do we work together to make this happen?

To answer these questions, we have organized the first GOL Summit, the largest conference about LGBTQ+ filmmaking in Asia. Regional experts in different areas of the film production process will share their insights and experiences while working on queer projects. During this one day conference we will host panels on film funding, production, distribution and marketing, plus two keynote lectures.

In-between sessions, we will showcase GagaOOLala and GOL STUDIOS’ recent international co-productions and, after the Summit, there will be an invite-only reception with more than 100 industry guests.
