When we record our thoughts and feelings, we begin to feel an unburdening effect on our mind, body, and soul.

This songwriting workshop is for anyone who wants to express themselves through music and words. Spearheaded by rapper and community activist, Tony Quander, the focus is to help you find your unique voice and turn it into a song. Be prepared to listen, share, and create through a series of timed writing sessions and inspired discussion. Bring your writing utensils of choice and come with an open heart and mind.

🎤關於 About Tony :
Tony is a teacher, hip-hop rapper, and artist from Washington, DC. Hailing from the longest recorded African-American family in the US, he has performed with numerous artists in venues in America, Italy, Japan, and Taiwan. Tony has also acted in a number of live theater plays and independent films throughout the US, one of which won Best Indie Film of the Year. Today, you can find Tony gracing stages with his free-flowing beats, pulsating poetry, and dope dance moves as well as bringing that same energy to BLM and community outreach meetings in Taiwan.
